May 20 we reported on an explosion at Foxconn’s iPad factory in Chengdu, China that killed two and injured sixteen people. Now an explanation for the cause has surfaced.
ReplyDelete“At about 19:20 Beijing Time, in Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Park West the Foxconn Building A5 production building exploded,” China Financial Daily reports.
“The explosion was caused by a super-light dust explosion,” CFD reports. “The building is the production lines for Apple's iPad 2.”
